I just picked up an 08 Night Rod Special and per my signature you can see the different bikes I've experienced. The v rod definately has more power than the ultra and the street bob even with the 96".

 

I went up against a v-rod on my dyna and the only numbers I know for sure was the 1/4 mile, top speed and weight, so I changed the valvues in the table posted by Sfarson

your dyna runs 11.3? or most dyna's run 11.3? if you say most i say your crazy. i don't even beleive 11.1 on a stock vrod unless a 100lb pro.

on a dyna most would be lucky to get a high 12

 

I never said mine was an average DYNA it is the SCREAMIN EAGLE DYNA with a few mods, most of the bikes I saw run that day were in the 12 to 13 second time frame

 

So a stock V-Rod beats a 110 cubic inch Dyna. Sweet! I can't wait to see the new Muscle in person.

 

I was not the owner of the vrod, so I do not know if it was stock, I am pretty sure it had at least an exhaust upgrade.

 

Thanks for the information. I have a Dyna FXD that I love, but am considering a V-Rod as a second bike. I definitely believe all Harleys will be liquid cooled in the near future, due to the EPA.

i still call bs! your screaming eagle dyna with mods runs 11.3? prove it. show your timeslip or at a minimum show me your 60, 330, 1/8 and 1/4 mile mph and times.

 

I have it in my tool box at work, I will bring it home on my next day, and scan it and post it. call all of the BS you want, but if that doesn't prove it to you, I can come SCHOOL THE FOOL.
