Default Erratic Idle on V-Rod

Hi there
I have a 2003 V-Rod, and recently put some Screaming Eagle clip on pipes. The idle now is quite erratic.
I asked the local Harley Dealer if it needs a Power commander or similar, but they say it won't make a difference.
Other people I have spoken to say that you need the power commander or race tuner because otherwise the new pipes cause the on board computer to make it idle lumpy.
&nbsp\\;
Can anyone throw in their thoughts?
Thanks
Michael

I completely agree with the "other people".&nbsp\\; Get a SERT or a PCIII and get a map installed which will adjust the tune to accomodate the Screaming Eagles.

For 2003 they still had the The Screaming Eagle "Flash" cartridge for those pipes.&nbsp\\; If your dealer still has one available, then by all means go for it.&nbsp\\;
