Default SE V-Rod

Hey. I'm a Sportster guy but I was wondering do they make a Screaming Eagle V-Rod, if some, does anyone have specs on it. You know like 0-60, 1/4 time and all that?

CVOs are two year runs... they made them in 05 and 06. Same as an VRSCA but lots of chrome and the 1250cc engine, but that's standard on all the 08s... so really they just have a bunch of chrome, and I think the 180 rear tire...

in 07 they made the VRSCX which had the 1250cc engine and said SE on it, but was not CVO, though I guess still SE... who knows, they guys argue about it.

I know a V-Ros with the 1250 engine can pull low 11s 1/4 mile stock...

Most stock 1250cc runs in around 12 for someone who is decent, but not great.

I thought the CVO had 240 rear tire seeing how the 180 was the Standard tire size

They made a whole new frame for all models in 07 (even the D, it uses spacers on its 180) to accomidate the 240, and the 5 gallon tank... I don't think they would have made a special frame just for one bike in 05/06, but I could be wronge. No, I checked, I'm right, 3 gallon, 180. The VRSCX, which says Screamin' Eagle on the side, but is not a CVO has both the 240, and the 1250cc engine. One year run in 2007. I guess you could call it a Screamin' Eagle no-CVO, or a SE tribute bike...

VRSCSE 05 VRSCSE 06,
From what I hear, they have a livelier cam than the 07 1250 on the VRSCX, don't know compared to the 08s, but the quoted power on the 08s 1250 is slightly higher than that on the 07 VRSCX's 1250... so maybe they used to SE internals in 08...

I wouldn't trust that site, they get things wrong all the time. Especially since there were no VRSCSEs made in 2006, they were all VRSCSE2s... the engine displacement was 1250ccs not 1179.94, Harley has never made a 72 cubic inch engine...

But I think you're right, the VRSCSE2s have a 240 rear and the VRSCSEs have the 180.

But don't trust that site... they mess up all the time. I wouldn't trust a site that doesn't get either the name or engine size right...

I personally like the looks of the VRSCX the best... too bad too many dealers are still asking way too much for them. I might have gotten one, but my DX was cheaper, and has the slipper clutch.

I think Harley has strayed away from the 2 yr run on their CVO bikes. The Ultra is in it's 3rd year and it is considered a CVO bike. For the "Touring CVO's" you had the 00-01 Glide like mine. The 02-03 Road King. The 04-05 Classic and the 06-07 and 08 Ultra. I believe the 06 CVO V Rod had the 240 on it.
