Looking to buy a V-Rod myself. Did anybodytry both the 1130cc and the 1250cc. Is there a big difference?

 

Thanks guys. Like the turn signal suggestion. Was considering a chrome belt guard. I will wait until I get the bike to decide. No rush. I Am also considering one of those "mini backrests". Do they add any comfort for a passenger?

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Performance wise, not that i can tell. The 1250s picked up 5hp and 50 pounds of weight. The 1130 might be just a little more nimble. Then again, I was comparing a dealer's bike to my bike that I am very used to riding. I didn't want to drop the dealership's bike and I know exactly what my bike will do.

 

Check the 1130 forum, bikes for sale section under classified. Several bikes of various years and mods at good prices.

 

The "mini backrest" only helps keep the passenger from flying off the back when you grab a handfull of throttle. HD doesn't make a sissybar for the Vrod that is actually comfortable for the passenger. Gin and Ginz Custom Choppers in CA made ours for $200. (www.ginzchoppers.com)
