I have a FAST 03 sportster. I have rode a Stock nightrod and its faster than my sportster. I imagine most folks uncork thier Vrods
so its only gonna get faster. He should have come in here and said how much better looking the sportster is instead of some BS

The Sporty line is definately the second best looking line MoCo makes.

I don't think we read the post properly. he meant to say that His sportster was destroyed on both ends. Now that makes more sense.

Thanks for clearing that up. After re-reading the original post, I see where his train of thought derailed.

I will admit I am not a v-rod fan...BUT I have ridden one and here is what I know.

It will smoke any Sportster and my Dyna.

We MIGHT get a V-Rod on a 60 mph roll-on, but who cares, like the bike or not, it's a firecracker.

Actually, you wouldn't have much, and that's being generous, at 60 mph. An air-cooled bike would run away from a V-Rod for the first 30 feet or so from a dead stop (that's the benefit of low RPM torque)but after the Revolution hits higher RPM it's gone.

Quit egging them on eazy. YOU know how quick stock V-rods are from 0-60 (Hell, National Geographic Channel told the whole world.)or 60-100. Most experienced 'Busa riders won't challenge a V-rod off the line to 60mph or 1/8th mile. Roll on at 60, thats another story, the 'Busa is still in first gear with five to go. We're in second gear with only 3 to go.
Besides, my best friend rides an 883.
