Night rod stock exhaust
Hi All, I am from N.Ireland and brand new to this forum and to the world of Harleys.
Just ordered my new 2008 night rod specuial Gloss black with pewter stripes.
Can the stock exhausts be made any louder?
I am getting a set of black remus fitted but still like the look of the stocks.
anyway, I hope to be a regular here now so see ya all soon and hello from N.ireland.
regards
Brian Kelly

RE: Night rod stock exhaust
Welcome to the forum. In my personal opinion the stock exhaust MUST be changed. There are some slip-ons that look ok and sound good too.
What part of N. Ireland you from, not very often you run into someone from there. Had an ex that was born and raised there and I had the chance to spend some time in Donaghadee and travel around with her family.

RE: Night rod stock exhaust
Hi again
i am from Derry which is just on the border with Donegal.
I have always owned sports bikes as there is a tradiation of sports bike riding here with the NW200.
I always liked the v-rod but loved the NRS. I visited my local Harley dealer and fell in love. Dry days here are few and far between, but the day i went for the test drive, the sun gods were looking down on me and enjoyed every min on the bike...
Good luck and tal;k soon

I'm fortunate enuogh to live in Phoenix AZ where rain is like maybe 30 days and it's not even bad so we have really a year long riding season. Crappy part is that I'm not in a good enough job to be able to afford a v-rod yet. We'll see though. Well best wishes bro.
