Saddlebags on a V-Rod

RE: Saddlebags on a V-Rod
You and I see eye to eye on this issue. I don't like the look of Bags on a V-Rod.
I have found the need for saddle bags when I'm traveling. I use the Leather Pro bags. They are there if I need them, but I can remove them in about 30 seconds when I get where I'm going.
Rumor has it, they stopped making the V-Rod bags.

I agree with both you and RJ, but with that said I have a set of leather throw-overs and a stand-off rail that attaches to the rear fender struts to keep the bags out of the rear wheel.
They have been on once and maybe never again. I use a Tombstone and a T-Bag for luggage.

It's a great looking bike, but I can't see it with saddlebags. Somehow with you riding, I don't think anyone notices the bike anyway. Don't be offended I know I'm a pig. They probably go on and off easily. Just use 'em when you need to, leave them off otherwise.
