Thinking about buying a V-ROD...
#11
Ive had mine for 6 weeks, and only 250 miles, after years of Italian and Japanese bikes, all of which were good. But, wanted to try a HD, loved the look of an '03 anniversay model which is either two wheel eye candy or American bling (excuse me!). It is just fun to just sit back and cruise, plenty of power if you want to play. I plan to do 2,000 miles across France on it in Sept so should get a good try out then.

Rear sets straight up give you better handling and more lean angle that's not objective it's physics, it puts your weight low and to the center instead of on top of the seat. All vrod models have 32° lean angle the streetrod has 40° buy a regular harley if you want to sit in the lazy boy position. Even the fxdr would be a much better bike if it had rear sets on it instead of fowards like every other harley. My biggest complaint about my nightrod was it wouldn't lean worth a damn, my sportster leaves it in the dust on a curvy road
