Great looking ride, Mike!

The first time I saw a V-Rod I told my wife "Man that looks fast just sitting there!"

She wants one as a Trike for her.

I am pretty sure that I might consider possibly thinking about getting a touring V-Rod if the MOCO ever builds one...maybe.

Obviously, I'm on the fence. I love the technology and wouldn't mind taking advantage of it riding cross-country but the bike would have to have decent wind protection, lockable hardbags, and a bigger gas tank.

Like earlier posts, I am seeing more Rods also but I'm not so sure all models are moving as fast as Harley would like. In October, my dealer had two leftover '04's on the floor for $7,000 under MSRP.

They have trouble moving them here as well. I don't see to many on the road, and the bikes on the floor have been there for a while. They can't keep Softails on the floor, the longest I have ever seen one last is a week. RKs sell a little slower, but not much. The couches seem to stick around for a while, but still not as long as the Rods...Just not a popular bike around here.

I saw a used 2003 solid silver one for sale at a local shop and to be honest if I could buy it right now I would. No I mean PERIOD. It is fine. It looks fast just sitting still! Tim

The V-Rod is an awesome bike, just not for everyone. Giving up 600 + cc's to the Honda 1800 VTX and still beating it by a full second in the 1/4 mile is impressive.

I would like a touring model also as long as we wouldn't have to lose our 88's.
