I wanted to give a quick update on the Flynhawgs saddlebag protectors that I won in this contest.
It's been so busy, that I had honestly forgotten about them. They arrived last week, nicely packaged with simple and good directions.
Before receiving them, I did not know what to expect by just looking at a picture of them. For some reason, I expected them to be brittle. They are not at all. They are made of a fairly thick textured rubber material that is very pliable, but not stretchy.
The texture is similar to what you find on the drywall inside of your house. I haven't installed them, but can tell you the fit is great. The parts look die cut and there are no rough edges or anything.
I think one of the best things about the product is that the lid protectors can be removed and reapplied. I like my bike looking really clean, kind of less is more type thing. However, my bags got scratched up pretty good on a last year's Sturgis ride. I definitely plan on using these on road trips where I know the bike will get loaded down with gear, etc.
One of my buddies saw the Flynhawgs sitting in my garage and loved them. He asked if i would sell them to him. I had to tell him to get his own, because these are about the only thing I've ever won!
Thanks again Flynhawgs! I look forward to using your great product.
Very Respectfully,
