New 2014 Wheel designs from Performance Machine
We are very pleased to announce that the new 2014 wheel designs from Performance Machine are now available.
You are looking at the latest editions to the "Contour Collection".
The Contour Collection of wheels were re-born with the Revel and Virtue in 2013. The Contour Collection was inspired by two wheel designs that Performance Machine produced for a short time about ten years ago. The wheels were also referred to as the Contour line, the specific wheel designs were named The "Casino" and the "Widow-maker". Back then these wheel designs were unlike anything else available in the world. It was so difficult to CNC machine designs into the actual lips of motorcycle rims (hence the name "Contour") that the cost was over $5000 for just the two bare wheels, that means no tires, discs, pulley or chain sprocket. We could not get our hands on them fast enough, the demand from our clients was beyond incredible.
Brought back with the help of advances in machining technology and techniques, combined with the most talented designers in the motorcycle industry, Performance Machine is now able to offer the same complex designs that inspired the original contour line, but at a fraction of the cost.
At Sport Chrome we are able to supply you with a complete set of Contour Collection wheels like the Syndicate, Recon, Revel or Virtue, combined with matching brake discs, belt pulley or sprocket and with tires mounted and ready to roll for less than what a set of bare Contour wheels cost over ten years ago.
