----------Try on biker glasses-------------
We're currently looking at some software that would allow the end user to try on sunglasses in real time online. You could either upload a picture or turn on the camera (if you have one) and see them in real time.
My question is this, would you be more likely to buy if you could see them on you?

I recently bought a pair of sunglasses from an internet vendor, but unfortunately when I tried them on they didn't fit well (too small) and since I was going overseas I didn't have time to send them back. Now,if this software really does what it says it could help customers choose the right model of glasses with a great reduction in returned items and shipping costs.

I work for a company that renders parts on cars. We attenmpted what you are trying to do, because I think it is an amazing opportunity. The problem is if you allow users to upload an image of themselves it is a flat image. Images don't have sizing, and dimensions to the face.
You will need to not only upload the image, but also take about 4-6 measurements per person. I'm not sure the average person would want to do this.
Example measure from your ear to your other ear. Measure from the top of your nose to the bottom. Measure from the apex of your cheekbones to the bottom of your eye. Measure from the top of the nose to the outer dimension of your eyes.
There will be a few people that do this. The question is how many?
I'm not saying this to discourage you, I really hope you figure out a way to do it.
