I have a question...a few years ago i bought 2 helmets from carbon fiber helmets.com...they were DOT approved..My understanding is they went out of business...So if these helmets are made from part carbon fiber why are they not dot approved?....I think they look awesome and am considering buying them but where i live the cops have zero tolerance for non DOT helmets...My helmets from cfh.com are falling apart on the inside and i need to make a move..Thank you

Skull Crush helmets are too low profile to be DOT. We have Daytona 3/4 helmets, which are thinner than most DOTs but still have some size to them.

 

Ordered mine this morning for my birthday. Can't wait for it to get here. Also used the promo code for Thanksgiving. So far a very easy transaction and good communication.

 

The puncture test is what changed the DOT rating on the carbonbfiberhelmets.com helmets. I still wear mine. Dot tag and all.
