Default Introducing: The New "Aero" Polycarbonate Windshield

The Fast Aire "Aero" Windshield is Here !
www.FastAire.com

1996-2011 FLHT, FLHTC, FLHTCU, FLHX "BatWing" Fairing Models
Made in the USA

What is the Aero ?

This is a new "spoiler or recurved" windshield designed exclusively by Fast Aire.

Its made from ballastic grade polycarbonate for impact resistance and coated with a very hard thermo applied material that is scratch & chemical resistant.

Why use ballastic polycarbonate ?

Because it is used for bullet proof windshields, auto racing windshields, aircraft windshields, safety glasses and other areas where impact resistance and safety is the only consideration for material choice.

The Aero has been in the works for almost a year. Several versions were ridden & tested for over 5000 miles by different riders in different parts of the USA before it went into production.

The Aero is manufactured by one of the top polycarbonate forming companies in the USA. They are ISO-9000 Quality Certified & US Military approved.

There is a considerable amount of technical information on the website that goes into detail about the material, design, warranty and so forth.

Want to see why Polycarbonate is better ? Go to www.YouTube.com & search Polycarbonate vs Acrylic Windshields & see for yourself.

This is exactly what I would buy in a clear shield for long trips...ability to 'hide' from the rain and/or protect from debris..at night

clear please?

Smile Fast Aire Aero Windshield

Ordered my Aero Windshield on 5/17/2011. Received it today 5/19 via USPS Priority Mail. Great Service I ordered the new 10" dark Aero for my 2011 Ultra Classic. Pictures Below. It looks pretty good and I'll see how it performs this weekend with a little 700 mile trip.

Trip Report: Took the windshield on a little 800 mile trip to North Central PA over 3 days. Rained off and on the 1st day. The windhsield definitly felt like it deflected the rain better than my stock OEM shield did. I also felt less helmet buffetting than with the stock shield even though this one is lower giving me an added benefit of looking over this one better than the stock. Always felt the stock winshield needed to be be about 1-2 inches lower as it ended up almost even with my eye level especially when riding 2-up. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Hey I didn't even know you were a vendor here. I just received my Aero 8" today and installed it on my StreetGlide. This is exactly what I was looking for when I previously bought the Clear----Recurve.
This beats the brand X hands down - I Love it!
(by the way - I'm the guy you sent it to here in Texarkana, AR)

How tall are you - and do you have a pic of the new shield on your SG?

I'm 6'1" and debating whether to go 8" or 9".
