I bought a Fast Aire "Aero" Windshield, too. I got mine (8-inch, dark gray) within the past month and I've now had several opportunities to ride with it. I absolutely love it! It not only works, but it looks great doing it!

Kudos to Jim and Fast Aire.

Just wanted to say that I just put the 10" Light Smoke Aero on my new Limited.

It's perfect, and it does a better job with airflow than my 12" stock windshield did, not to mention it looks a lot better.

Very happy with it.

For your Road Glide shields ... What heights are you thinking of? I'm 6'2" and the stock shield aims all the air directly at my ear level at highway speeds (80-85) making the use of ear plugs a requirement. It also creates an excessive amount of buffeting on the helmet causing double vision at anything over 55 mph. I am currently looking over the stocker by about 4 - 5 inches.
Of course I would also like to know when you will be expecting to release the line
My screen name is no longer accurate ... I'm on a 2011 RGU now

Don't forget to accomodate for the shorter folks that have Road Glides and Ultras.

Have you ever pondered the idea of a "Transitions Windshield?" where under sunlight it tints and vice versa like eyeglasses?

Thanks

At this point Im not certain of the RG shield sizes. Im thinking somewhere around the stock size +2" to -4".... its just a guess for now. It will be the same polycarbonate material I use for the current Aero windshield. At this point it is in design & prototyping stage. Target is Spring 2012 for release.... it could vary.

The transition material like whats used for glasses is very very expensive. I doubt theres a market for a $500 windshield
