Default Top Shop Bags 09 Fender In The Works

Here we are again with something new for the 09's. This fender overlay in still in the works but here is the progress so far. Any and all input is welcome and will be take into consideration.
As you can see it is rough and you would be able to use your stock taillight assembly when it is completed. As far as the trilight is concerned you will have to(as of now) extend the wiring about 4 in. ,to have enough length to intall it properly. The cut outs that you see in the picture will be changed slightly, due to the fact that they are off and have to be fixed.
Thanks
Justin B

Looks good so far, are you going to leave them smooth and let the customer cut out the tailight (prefered) or cut it out at your facility?

You need to make (or have someone that can make, hint hint) an extension to include with the fender so that your customers dont have to cut/splice thier wires!

I known its still in the works but is there anyway to get the openings to match? If I sent you all some LEDS turn signals could you French them in for an extra fee? Looks good though.

Here is a 30 second edit job I did on your pic... notice the bottom right of the fender... are you planning on rounding this fender like I filled in with gray?

Justin, after you add the radius, mount some full stretch bags with out the cut outs and you will see

you might need to offer 2 models with and with out cut outs

I agree about the radius. I would also do something with the cut outs of the fender and bags. I'm trying top think of the best way to put it? Maybe more of a round opening.

Taking out the cut outs would not be a problem if a person wanted to order the fender that way. As for the cut out for the exhaust those are not finished yet and have to be changed. I'll get a better picture of the entire fender tommarow when it's a little more complete.
