I ordered 1" extensions from Harley Goodies on Wed. and they showed in the mail today. Put them on and took a test ride I read everyones input on here but I didn't realize just how much of a difference they would make. How 1" could make such a difference in the comfort and in extending the legs is astounding.

I also adjusted the front shift lever down, came from the factory set at about 6 inches above the floorboard, now got it down to about 2.5 - 3" , Just right.

Do the extensions move the floor boards forward, or out?

 

These particular ones move them out. 1" is amazing, hard to believe. The MOCO should do this stock, but hey, it keeps these other guys putting food on their tables so I'm cool with that, too.

 

It moves them out, but here's the kicker, on the stock the front part of the floorboard is useless because the shifter and the brake pedal take up room, once you extend them out 1" you can use the whole floorboard so essentially you are getting more room forward also, at least this is what I found.

 

Put them on my softail 4 years ago.Loved them. First thing I bought for my 09 S.G. Love them too.

Does anyone have the extensions with lowers on their Ultras? Any interference? I am thinking about getting them because even with my little feet, they are hanging off the footboards.
