Im not sure if this is the best place to ask about info on these extensions, but here it is.

Do I understand correctly that all they do is move the floorboards out away from the frame?

If I am already dragging boards from time to time on my 08 streetglide, will I hate having these?

 

Yes Sir you do understand correctly, these do move your brackets away from the frame.
