RE: KLOCK WERKS DOUBLE BACK HEAD PIPES AND PUFFER MUFFLERS
Filler question.
Yes they do. As a matter of fact the current design for all touring models is based of the top filler we made for the street glide. Both are the same. We do make them to accomodate both the back rest and tour pack detachable docking points.
Thanks
Joe

how hard is it to check your trans fluid with those pipes on ?

Thanks Nick for your input. It is not hard at all. You do check the oil same as you would with different exhaust. I will say this however. The pipe is a bit closer to the filler of the '06 and older touring bikes. This does not stop you from checking or changing your oil. It is just close and you will want to be sure your pipes have cooled because your fingers will touch the heat shields.
Thanks

The real question is how do they perform????
The real question is how do they perform????
Like any exhaust you cannot get the full benefit of them without using a performance hi flow air cleaner and adjusted fuel maps or rejeting of your carb. It's all about how much air and fuel you can move through the engine.
We have always been able to find and resolve another issue that was the root ofproblems when there has been either an issue with a bike here in the shop or a customer calling to say they didn't work.We have found to have good luck with our headers by using our puffer mufflers , bassani megs, SE bodies and many others. When talking about performance pipes one of the most common questions is "are the pipes equal length". No they are not, but the two bends in the rear pipe (shorter pipe)do help to simulate more length by adding back pressure. All pipes are set to run O2 sensors and come with plugs if you do not have sensors.
Thank you all for your input and for your questions!

These headers combined with the puffer mufflers have all my riding buddies calling my bagger "the space shuttle", wondering when I'm gonna re-enter the atmosphere! Not only do they turn heads because of the different look, the sound is awesome. Could be the 124" S&S has a little to do with it, but they sound great on every bike i've heard.Tons of performance through every gear, but especially on the highway. Not to break the thread on the headers, but if you want to turn your bagger into YOUR bagger, check out the rest of the unique parts from kustombaggers.com. Can't say enough about them (no, I don't work for 'em, I'm just a VERYhappy friend and client)
