ThunderMax ABS modules for big wheels on 2014+ Reflex brake bikes
We have few of the new Thundermax ABS modules inbs tock for 21,23, and 26" wheels for 2014 and newer touring modles that have linked brakes. These modules are size specific. Install is simple once your fairing is removed.
You can use these with single disc or dual disc and not have any issues with the ABS system as was previously an issue depending on what size wheels and tires you were running.
If you need an ABS module for your 2014 or 2015 bagger with bigger than stock front wheel give me a call. I am out of stock right now but have more on order.
I just put on a 21" front (120/70/21) with the stock rear. My ABS light isn't on, but my brakes seem to pulsate when I use them and feel like they're grabbing a little. In your opinion would this fix that problem, even though my ABS light isn't coming on?
I have TM modules in stock ready to ship. Please all and I can get one out for you today.
Performance Machine website blog says that all there larger wheels now come with an ABS sensor plate to recalibrate the computer and correct the ratio problem which causes the ABS codes. I was talking with a local shop that will be doing my 23" wheel assembly for me that wasn't aware of this feature from PM and stated they had just dealt with PM in the last couple weeks and this was not the case. Any idea as to the validity of this claim of a sensor plate. The link is to their website blog (PM). Or maybe this is something I assumed was truth because it was on the Internet and heck we all know that everything on the Internet is true right?

Only PM wheels come with whatever it is that they use and they will not share their info or sell this only to customers. If you get a PM wheel you won;t need the ABS module but if you get another brand you will.
So, if you order a PM wheel for a 2014 or newer no need for the module.
