Default 05 Fatboy rocker breather

My 2005 Fatboy anniversary was dripping oil out of the air cleaner. So, I made a external breather for it. I picked up a pair of rocker breathers from the local stealership. I got the whole thing opened, valve cover off. These seem like the wrong ones.

VS. What is on the bike.

Even the bolts with the new breather assy are shorter and will not work. It is the 95cid twin cam. Did I get the wrong part, I am thinking I did. or did the company update them. plus, the left hand bolt hits the backbone and will need the engine leaned to get it out.

Thanks,
Tim

Those are the "upgraded" stamped head breathers; PN 17025-03A which inlcuded new bolts; they will work and are "supposed" to be an improvement. Sometimes the longer breather bolts on the rear cylinder will make contact with the frame and it seems like there is no way to remove them but they will come out. You have the correct part but be sure to blow any oil that might be in the threaded bosses for the breather bolts to avoid a hydro lock which can blow out the bottom of the threaded boss and then you have a real mess.
