Default Dyna Vs Touring 103

Hey yall,

Recently found metal in the engine oil of my 2010 Ultra. I found a used 2012 Dyna 103 and having trouble finding out if the dyna 103 and touring 103 are the same? Does anyone have experience or knowledge?

I was interested in the internals and jugs. I figured the block would be different.

Looking at pics the engine appears to be the same. No balancer.

Maybe someone else knows if the trans mount is different. The jugs, crank and cam chest should be the same

You could check part numbers on Ronnie's HD

The motor will swap.. The only issue is the front motor mount on the cylinder head. It can be modified to accept the mount or you can simply swap the head..

I know I'm replying kind of late on this, but I would recommend pulling the oil pan on the bottom of the trans and cleaning it as best you can. If you don't you'll probably have metal shavings in your new engine as soon as you fire it up.
