You need to check your needle, the float height and the float needle that it’s not damaged and fully seated in the carb when it supposed to be. Your carb is completely untuned. Where was your mixture screw during this. What jetting, pilot and main are you using and what stage of upgrades have you done. Air intake. Full pipes. Baffle or no baffles in the pipes. Have you checked for leaks around the intake manifold, cylinder heads and exhaust gaskets. Spray some carb cleaner around the areas with the bike running. If you have a leak anywhere it will suck in the carb cleaner and your rpm’s will jump for a few seconds.
Hi,
Thanks for the tips, but my bike is an EFI bike.
But I guess the same apply for efi.

Reading plugs is a priceless art. Exactly like you said. Carb or
EFI, the plugs tell all. Doing plug chops on EFI bikes is the most reliable

Get the bike on a dyno and properly tuned.

I just realized that I have a Dynojet PC 3 laying around.
Is it so that I can download a base map with ca the same mods I have on my bike from somewhere?
Just to get me going until my dyno guy gets his equipment sorted out.

So, the bike is now tuned, but still I experience shuddering from 2000rpm and up under load.
The engine lamp comes on and shuts off if I drop a gear or just wait for the rpm to slowly build up.

anyone got an idea?

That should not be happening with a proper dyno tune; post the dyno chart.

The dyno guy couldn't figure out what was wrong?

Hi,

since the dyno was broken, we did roadtuning.
Therefore I don’t have a dyno chart.

He thinks that it could be some fuel problem within the tank, so I’m starting by changing the hose to the connector, fuel filter and regulator.

What my tech found weird is that if you drive aggressive, you don’t experience any issues, but if you drop the rpm to 2000 ish and give it throttle it starts acting up.
He has done several tunes this way, and is well experienced with TC engines, but this issue causes him headaches….
