Default Hitch pitched noise, gets more intense when accelerating

Ok, this is the last time I’ll annoy you all (today)

high pitched constant whine from the engine, it increases as you rev, BARELY noticeable but I can notice it. Cam chest is fine, primary fluid has recently been changed and tension has been checked. Nylon shoe in the primary has 3 worn lines in it about 2mm deep.

CAN YOU HEAR THIS HIGH PITCHED NOISE AND IF SO WHAT BLOODY IS IT HAHA

A two ear mechanic stethoscope may help you pin point it.

The whine/ or wheer I think I hear is either your primary chain, or maybe, a gear set on your cams. But that’s only a guess.

Sounds like the primary chain, I wouldn’t worry about it personally

I found why mine was whining high pitched and worse when accelerating. It was the cam tentioners. One shoe was completely broken off and it was rubbing metal to chain. Those chains are tough, the shoes and guide not so much. Had already replaced clutch and stator. I needed a stethoscope to pinpoint the area where the noise was coming from. Expensive lesson. So check cam tentioners or anything else rubbing metal to metal. Good luck
