Just so you all know, I measured a set of lifter travel limiters and the measured .115" not the assumed .100"
And yes you can a adjust them till totally collapsed and leave them right there. The growth of the motor will decrease preload as it warms up..
I thought that 1 full turn from collapsed was necessary but found out from @wfolarry that snug is just fine as long as you can spin the pushrod.
