Default From 50mm to 58mm TB and Power Vision

Power Vision tuner will automatically detect 58mm TB or is that a setting that needs to be changed?

There is no setting parameters in the power vision for the TB size itself. Increased air flow using the old afr tables will more than likely cause a tuning issue.

A couple auto tune sessions should clear it up then, no?

It should but I know that some versions of flash tuners don't adjust VEs in the upper ranges.. You'd think that with map based timing would be OK tho.

If it's was a Tmax, timing would have to change since it is TPS based.

Probably also need to adjust a couple of the iac tables to eliminate flaring

Need to do some more research on WinPV software to be able to massage the tables. It's pretty powerful software, I just don't have enough experience yet to get all brave and start tinkering. Going to have to let the AutoTune handle it for now. Also need to get the wide band kit after a while.

Did a leak down test and got 2-4% on both heads, so that's good. Haven't done the compression test yet due to the easy start cams. Either need to remove the push rods or run on one cylinder... Still deciding which is better. I'm thinking the push rod route is more practical though.

*****! Now I need to research "flaring"... That's another fine mess you've gotten me into. 😊

Been looking at throttle bodies and the question now is which size to go with. The 55mm is ranged up to 110ci and the 58 starts at the 107ci. Seems my build is at the cusp of both. The practical thing to do would be to go with the 58mm and buy the damn thing once in case I go up to a 124ci later on. The 58mm will require a new air cleaner, so spend now or spend later... HD = Hundreds of Dollars! 😂
