Screamin Eagle heads 17015-03 , 17016-03
Hello I am trying to find out the chamber size and also valve sizes for the above heads in their stock configuration. Also, what pistons Harley would match up with this part numbers listed above . I purchased a motorcycle with these heads on it and I’m wondering if possibly there is a flat top or pop-up piston that they used back in 2004. I know this can be changed but I believe a haley dealer did this work when the bike was new so my guess is it is all Bolt on Harley parts for the top end . I do know that it has a 4 3/8 crankshaft and also 51 CV carburetor so my guess is possibly a full 103 kit was offered by Harley back in the day. I think it began life as a 2004 88 in.³

The problem is that the number you gave them is likely a casting number on the head.. It is not the assembly number. You really need to post some pics of the combustion chamber, intake and exhaust port.

EDIT: I should have checked PNs; thought these were the early SE Performance heads with the 76cc chambers; my bad.

If 17071-03B is the correct item number, this is them below.
103+ heads use an angled piston and chamber to match. I don't know if they're 20° or 30°.
I recently found set of NOS pistons for a friend, they're rare as hens teeth.
22483-04 std bore
22484-04 0.005 OS
22485-04 0.010 OS

If you reread my post, I listed that number as well as the 0.005" and 0.010" oversize part numbers. I sourced the 0.010" oversize for my friend.
