Well Mr. case splitter, if you know so much, you would look at the picture the OP put up and realize, at some point the oil lines were changed out to run out to an cooler. That is not factory the way the line routed. They both were under a cover and ran trough the trans housing from the factory! Also, the hose barbs are not straight, clue #2 . So there you have it. NO effing o-rings in that section! sheesh

I made a quick post. Not testimony to congress. He said he had a oil cooler leak, so I mentioned oring, since the oil filter has oring. But again big deal. I didn't jump up and down. I said check parts diagram to see if there are oring. We spent more time in a cat fight than it is worth.
As we both said, that is not the factory oil cooler.
As we both said, that is not the factory oil cooler.

Does not appear to be o-rings; giving bad advice is not the way to gain credibility.
If you are going to suggest looking at a parts diagram, you should include one for reference, otherwise your information is worthless.
The brass angled fitting in the OP does not appear to be OEM as the parts diagram shows a straight fitting.
You can still purchase them from H-D.
Ref: 17
26314-99
FITTING STRAIGHT
Price: $3.65
Do not know why a angled fitting was used, maybe to make the hose angle better. The OEM hoses are pre-bent and are still availble also, recommend getting new hoses and not worry about it for another 50k or so.
I would also use OEM clamps as those worm clamps cut into the hose and you can get them too tight. Additionally, the OEM clamps look better.
Ref:27
62726-99
HOSE OIL
Price: $13.19
Ref:10
10249
CLAMP HOSE
Price: $2.18

I just said check the parts diagram for fuc sake, I didn't give him a quote for labor. Myself I just go to ronnies. Which doesn't allow sharing the image.
Anyone else you ladies would have just looked at the parts diagram and said nope. It's been over a year since I had the engine a part. And again he said oil cooler, which OEM coolers are in front, not the hoses to the tank.
