2005 RK Nasty Noise Help
I have developed this noise and I am stuck. I have installed adjustable pushrods, different rockers and the noise continues. What could be causing this noise? I am stuck! Video is in the link.

Don`t run the engine anymore.
How many miles on the engine?
Have you gone inside the cam cover and inspected the cam chain adjusters? If you have not, you need to get inside there now...
When the noise started, what type of pushrods were in the engine, one piece or adjustable?
How many miles are on the lifters?

I would borrow or buy an oil pressure gauge kit and remove the oil pressure sensor and plug it in there. See what you are reading for pressure. If that is good I would check inside the cam chest and spec everything in there. If that is good, it almost sounds like a piston problem or rod problem. What were your conditions when it started? High rpm’s, low rpm’s, idling? Hot, cold? After 1 mile or 200? After sitting for an extended period, or being ridden weekly? Always remember even though it sucks, it will be solved eventually and you will be back to riding.
