07 Deluxe cam swap

07 Deluxe cam swap
I have an 07 Deluxe with hi flow intake, V&H Big shot longs and FP3. My brother gave me a pair of CVO255 cams. He bought them and decided to go a different route. I wanted em for the torque. I ride on interstates some, but being a hillbilly, most of my riding is in the twisties. The bike has 37000 miles on it and to my knowledge, has no problems. I am going to replace the breathers in the rocker boxes, so I'll be keeping the original push rods. With the rocker covers off and cam cover and plate off, what else should I do while I'm in there? Should I go through HD for gasket kits? I know to check the hydraulic tensioner.
thank you in advance!

Cometic for the win...HD coming in 2nd. Theres an oring on the under the rocker support that you should change "since you're in there" and most people drill out the drain holes under the breathers to .125 for better oil return...put a little bevel/ countersink in the holes to. With 37k the lifters should become paper weights and be replaced with a quality brand name lifter. Also the inner cam bearings should be changed to a full compliment bearing from koyo. Lots of people bag on the 255s but they are a heck of a down low torque cam that can usually be found pretty cheap.
