Default Man o' War comp and Evolution Clutch

2015 FLHP

I recently went with a Man o' War comp and a Stage One Evolution clutch.

It seems that the Neutral Knock is much more prevalent. Not a hug issue but does anyone else have an evolution clutch and have the same neutral knock?
no issue when the clutch is pulled in.

besides that i'm very happy with the performance. easier starts, HUGE friction zone, easy to find neutral.

Noise issues is just one complaint of the MOW sprocket. Do a Google search to see results from other forums.
There is also a disclaimer about using it with easy start cams.

Here is one

no issues with the man o war as of yet....I'm talking about the well known and normal neutral/clutch knock/rattle. it seems a little more with the evolution clutch set up....otherwise, i'm very happy so far. if that changes, I'll go back to a SE/stock rushmore comp with an evolution ramp.

installed a MOW motorsprocket on my nephews 09 SG few weeks ago, he said he hears a little noise at idle but said it's not bad at all, but he gave rave reviews on it's performance

I actually called and spoke with the guys over at Evolution. UNBELIEVABLE customer service. The bottom line is It is completely normal to have neutral rattle. (of course knew that)......and even slightly louder due to their clutch. I was trying to get the lever to feel stock and he explained it's not designed to start engaging right at the bar. "set it at 1/2 out, adjust your lever and get used to it. after you do, you'll love it."

They had nothing but good things to say about Man O War. they said they've installed this combo (even with the stock chain tensioner) in MANY bikes with very good results....I'm not the type to complain about noises-I just wanted to be sure.

right before hanging up, he said "we make a comp eliminator and hardened replacement ramp for the stock comp...we'd love it if you bought one but I run the man O war on one of my personal bikes because it's a great product even if it can cause DIFFERENT noises than stock"
