I don't trust the system but I trust my tune. I have other parameters set to pull a little at a time under extreme heat etc. based on engine temp and IAC temp. I haven't had it pull any tho. At least not that I know of or can feel. I don't datalog and look for it all the time but I have. You will feel it when it pulls 6° - 8° of timing
Might want to check the resistance of your wires if you haven't already. There's a pretty wide tolerance tho. The numbers are in the fsm.
It will pull timing if there's anything funky going on in the combustion chambers. I would think fuel being off a lot would do it but not sure on that.

I don't run closed loop at all..I don't trust 14.3-14.9 AFR's.. I always ran open loop and if you really know how to read a spark plug you won't have any issues.. Also you will need to have some knowledge on what a specific build will require for a base starting point and fine tune from there.. Don't forget no matter what the input is, it's still all just a calculation.. Spark plugs are your friend.. Here's the best way to read a plug..

I only data log to get the tune right.. Once I'm done tuning then I set it and don't worry about it. But it is going to tell you a lot of what's going on... 6-8° is a massive amount of timing and yes you should feel it.. I have my parameters set up so it only pulls 1 to 2° at a time as necessary.. It definitely does take time to get it perfect and that's always my goal cuz I'm ****ing ****...

I'm **** about it too. lol
Learning to read plugs goes back to the days of tuning with carbs and tuning our hotrods as kids. Most don't know how. They only know fouled or not fouled. They don't know you can read timing too. Or that you need to look down the core with a magnifying lense. The top ring is only idle.

Did a test hit tonight. I liked my 1/8 mile time but think I can still improve..

That was my first test hit with the new Shinko, I wasn't sure how it would hook up so I didn't come off the line to hard but did carry the front end for about 20'.. Once I get the feel of it I'm hoping do high 10's.. Too bad we didn't have a track on Long Island.... A seasoned asphalt might yield me better numbers..
BTW I went back to stock gearing, 32/66...

Your weight and trap speed are a great indicator of hp being made, have you weighed the bike with you on it?

No I haven't weighed the bike but I do have a scale here at work so maybe I'll give that a shot today at lunch time and then add my 160 lb...

Hello there Bob its been a while nice bike your 110 seems to have turned out good! you know that wheelie stuff will get you in trouble with the troopers here in NY STATE! and its hard on the fork seals too. Believe me I know from experience.
