You boys got it all wrong, the fresh build is "bleeding compression" through the valve stem seals and blowing out the gaskets

On TCs, I've had them leak a little.. Right at the breather passage. Not much. Just enough that after about 60000 miles, when taking the motor apart, the area has the slightest buildup of dust where the 2 parts meet.

Sorry sir, that`s a running joke here and is NOT possible nor related to your problem.

Again, I apologise

I do have an oil temp gauge the oil would run at about 230 degrees so I added an oil cooler to keep it down, my oil pressure also reads 30-32psi while idling and up to 40-42 while riding.

After riding it unscrew the oil dipstick and listen for pressure escaping, if it does you should check the head breathers and see if they’re assembled wrong. Twin cams are very rarely problematic as far as breathers doing a good job breathing or rocker boxes leaking unless someone doesn’t know what they’re doing has worked on it. Also make sure the 2 bolts holding the air cleaner to the heads are drilled to allow the engine breathers to function. If they were replaced with normal bolts then it can’t breathe, put the proper bolts back in

How do you tell if the hissing sound you are hearing is pressure being high or low? Say the valves and breather are working perfectly. On shutdown, the pistons stop at or close to TDC. Won't the filler plug pull in some air?

I guess you could use smoke if it isn’t obvious

I think the important part is that you know which way the pressure difference is going.
