HSR 42 or 45?

Thanks for your reply. I don't know any flow numbers for these heads, they have 1.940" intake valve, and the intake port is 45 mm where it meets the manifold, compared to 42 mm for my stock heads.
I have a matching S&S manifold that is 45 mm where it meets the head and around 51 mm at the carb side. I can fit both 42 and 45 mm carbs using different rubber seals.

Manifold and ports are the same size and they match very nicely.

If you're interested I have a dealer kit of jets, needles and the next size bigger needle jet. Forget the number off hand and I'm at work. The needle jet isn't isn't all that readily available. A few different accelerator pump nozzles too.
Fits the 42 or 45.
I would go with the 45 in this case.

This is good stuff, thanks for sharing. The data doesn’t lie, I can see why 45 now given the projected head flow.
