My biggest problem and caused a huge lack of interest in the M8 section is: from the beginning it should have been about the engine and not the whole bike, as a mechanic I'm very interested in the engine but could give a f#*k less that some guy changed his hand grips and saddle bag latches and calls it his build thread. I looked at the whole section as a sub group of the touring section of which I have no interest in at all

It is a bit more confusing.. Don't know what they were thinking, however when they made the change they stopped short by leaving all the engine types in one thread... We should be able to select the next level of engine models and just see those posts in that single thread not the cluster f@%# that we currently see. And just to clarify, I'M NOT PREJUDICE but SEGREGATION here would be less confusing... As usual nothing is thought out far enough to pease the end user...

I doin't disagree. We can move non-engine content out of this section as far as I am concerned.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, there are currently three different engine forums.

I'm all for that, but what a huge task of sorting out over 5 years of posts

Could you to put it up for a vote? The last thing I want to see is all the touring guys with their panties all knotted up over this
