it would have. I thought it was still pretty clear but maybe not..I was mainly asking if he was certain they were stock.heads like he said because they're obviously not if those are the valve sizes.

You weren't. HRFB was asking if the valves were the right size for stock 103 heads.

No, he asked if he was measuring the valves in his stock heads that obviously aren't stock right. Im not sure what you thought I was saying. That his valves are stock?
I just put 1.615 exhaust valves in mine. I know they're not stock. lol
Personally I wouldn't be running those with 1.90 intakes but that's me and another subject. I'd stick with 1.575. 1.940 I'd run them and I'm running them with 1.980s. I'd probably run them with 2.0s too and not go to 1.630.
I think it's borderline over-exhausting imo but...

Why not? In order to go above 1.9 You need to replace the intake seats and sink the valves.. WFO larry gets real close to 300 cfm @28 on those heads and 1.9 valves. Replacing the seats cost $. Originally HRFB was doing kind of mouse build anyway. 9.9, w5..

Just to clarify, Gunner asked the proper questions and Max you had the proper replies as well as WFO Larry.. It is correct that 1.90/1.615 are not stock.. AND.. Yes I believed these were stock heads I just didn't know what was stock.. There has been perfect clarification but all on determining what is stock and what is oversized.. So now that that's cleared up I went back and tried to remeasure the valves and I was hastily wrong the first time . These are indeed stock heads.. the steak guides should be a dead give away..

The guides are more likely some form of cast iron.. With a bit of work and AVnV 7mm valves, it's not to hard to get 265 cfm out of the intakes on the late heads without doing the guides. Need to taper the port end some..
