Default ‘06 88TC to 103 swap, what do I need?

Just about to pull my blown 88tc from my 2006 fxdli with 20k miles on motor and frame. Dropping in a 2014 fxdl 103 motor only with 3k miles on it.

I’m currently planning on using my compensator from my 06 (trying to stay within a budget as much as reasonable), along with my stock throttle body, thundermax ECU, and my stock 6 speed tranny.

Upgrading my stator to a 09+, and upgrading the regulator to the same. Upgrading the front motor mount to a predator.

What should use for primary bearings? It looks like the 06 and the 14 are different part numbers, so which would work in my situation? If it’s highly suggested I upgrade the compensator, which years would work?

Any other parts I should change out while the whole things apart? Big fan of doing things right the first time around.

You want the race that fits the 06 tranny. The outer bearing is the same pretty much..

Go for the SEcomp. It's the latest and greatest plus it come with a plastic channel to rout the oil into the comp. You'll have to glue it in.. (Hint JBweld works fine.. )

Appreciate the info!
As far as the SE comp goes, I assume you’re talking about the one compatible with 06-11? No issues with that fitting into a ‘14? And if I do that, still get the inner primary bearing that fits the 06 as well I’d assume?
I know my way around an engine, but lack the knowledge with cross compatibility when it comes to twin cams.
Sorry if these are rookie questions, have spent hrs on forums trying to find the answers, to no avail.

You need the 061 if you are still tuning the old alternator rotor. You can use the 64A if the alternator has been upgraded.. Don't need the adhesive kit. Use JB weld.

There really isn't any difference between the SE kit and the 2014 stock comp. They are the same.
