Ramp and ball setup
Changed out trans outer cover and got a new clutch cable but I can’t seem to get the ball and ramp far enough back to disengage the clutch, tried putting the bike in gear and it still moves. It looks like the ball and ramp should go back farther but I can’t get it to go any further.

If you still have the old cover compare..
The next thing would be to make sure that the center adjuster lock nut is backed off enough when turning in the center clutch adjuster.
Make sure the clutch cable has the correct amount of slack. Cables between the 5speed TC and 6 speed are different.

With the cover off and looking at it upright, the tang should be in a slot about at 5 o'clock, I believe you can drop tang in any where from about 8 to 12 o'clock.

this is all the cable I can pull out of it, is there something about the cable I don’t know about? This cable is a Barnett cable and said it fits my bike, but as you can see there about 2-2.5 inches I need to connect it
