If you wanted a low end torque cam you should have stayed stock. The HD tq cam is really a midrange came. It definitely gets you more HP across the band. I don't care for LET cams.. I favor flat tq curves except once you get above a certain amount of TQ down low, it's better to push it up some. Especially on big motors. It then becomes warp speed.

You get to a point more low end torque is useless. That's my point. I bet dollars to donuts you're already there.
Anymore is just a waste as you a!ready have to feather the clutch. 110ft.lbs. at 2200rpm is more than I need. I like having damn near 130ft.lbs. at 4300 and still having 110ft.!bs. at 6000rpm. That's hp. Something you're severely lacking.
Low end torque might get you off the start line but hp gets you across the finish line first. Waayyy ahead of you and your m8 with my puny little twin cam 107.
I like pulling up next to people like you at a light...It's all over before you know what hit you.

I do need a sticky tire tho and I'm gonna drop my *** end a little too.

You must be running shitty gearing AND cams if you can't smoke the tire. I could smoke it as a stage 2 with the 570s.

I would love to see a video of a 103 w/ cams "smoking the tire" from pinning the throttle.

Sounds like you have a habit of dumping the clutch if you can't take off without spinning.

First of all it's not a 103...anymore.
Second it STARTS at 110ft.lbs and climbs rapidly with my 30 tooth solid sprocket.
Third, I'm on a Heritage Classic stripped down to solo mode and I weigh 160lbs. soakin' wet.
I smoke the tire pinning it.
I don't dump the clutch. I know full well how to work a clutch which I why I don't run a stinkin' compensator...aka cushion for the amateurs.
I also have quick hookup running ATF in the primary.

This is my reference to you smoking the tire on a 103 w cams. Don't worry, EVERYONE on this forum knows you went to a 107 w/ Dons heads

Not everyone’s ride is all about beating others from stop light to stop light on the way to Starbucks for a double vegan latte. Infrequently ride in hilly areas loaded with luggage and my wife. In that mode it’s about low to mid torque. While still preserving 200 range on 91 octane with 10% corn. That’s what I wanted, and that’s what I got with my Stage2 with the HD Torque Cam. If I wanted to blow people away from the light I’d save my money and get a Hyabusa. …

But what fun would that be. You're on a trike too?
Hey I like low end grunt too. There's just a point it's too much on one end and not enough on the other is all I'm sayin'.
It's a fad many do without even thinking about what they're doing. For instance, putting 583s in a dyna or something is just dumb. No two ways about it. But so and so said it's cool so...
Sheep following the herd.
Anything over 120ft.lbs. or so off the line and ya should be thinking about the other end imo.

Mines a 2011 wide glide 96ci woods tw777 cams and fuel moto tune. dropped her one inch and it's planted now. Shredding the Michelin. I too love rollin' up on M8's. they either don't have the ***** or my twin cam is a winner!
