I find this holds well as any high dollar lubes and shifts great in these old primary's. But I did just put some M1 atf mv in the 02 as I had some leftover from doing vehicles.
One of aftermarket clutch manufacturers warns against using F+ with their Kevlar clutches as they've had numerous reports of it causing slipping.
I've never run it so take that for what you will.
The one thing they all agree on tho is type F ATF.
Good tip.
I think Kevlar Klutch opened for Metallica on their Justice tour back when.
Man, winter must be getting long if I'm posting in an oil thread.

Reason: is summer here yet?
Yes. Keep in mind that the gear oil 75-140 Is not much different than 20/50 engine oil . They are measure using different methods . When the same method is used they come out about the same. The F plus is a non detergent 50 W.

Yeah and I'm not sure what the slipping issue is all about with it either but apparently enough people told them they had slippage that they felt a warning was justified.

I just bought those clutches and the reports of the Formula + is in cold weather locations. I am in Florida and am going to use it and see if I have any issues..

I could swear it was slipping issues, not stiction, but I could be wrong. Stiction is more of an issue in colder climates and is the result of the fluid being too thick. The discs/plates don't separate like they should. They stick together. Makes for hard shifting, especially finding neutral. And the bike wants to creep forward with the clutch lever pulled in.
Nothing wrong with that ST 10W30 btw. Except it's synthetic. But the weight is great.
