One thing I see missing is you'll need a new air cleaner for the 58mm, only ones I know of are the S&S Stealth and a couple screamin eagle ones.

That's not true. HPI for one.

Break in and tuning should be done on the dyno; very common practice assuming the tuner has the skills. I hope you replaced the crappy Trask filter. If not, the motor will stop breathing before peak TQ/HP. 60Gunner's 107 choked at 120HP; replace filter with K&N and hit 127HP.

Still curious how they got the 103 to a 113...hard to believe they went through the cost of splitting cases...boring cases to stop at a 113? Not that there's anything wrong with a 113 but it doesn't make sense in this case...to me anyway

With the same 3.5 qts of oil as a 96 incher, what is the expected oil temperature get to when riding hard?
I wonder if the 107-114s have more cooling fin surface area than twin cam?

what is the K&N filter model that will work with the TRASK Assault? I tried one that another post suggested... but the K&N Filter was not wide (thick?) enough for my Trask assault on my Twin Cam 107" motor.

So is it a 113?

From FM.
The Fuel Moto 113" is a complete engine kit for 110" CVO engines

It helps if you use the right filter. The K&N E-3226 is a perfect fit. Works great on my 107. No one suggested the E-3225 you apparently tried.
