I found a 2007 Ultra Classic Peace Officer that only has 4,200 miles on it. Was told the fuel pump was recently replaced and the bike is very clean. What should I look for or be concerned about? He's asking $8,000.

Pretty good price. Could have the original tires on it, 15 years old, should be replaced. All fluids changed, including brake fluid, check how old the battery is, probably not the original.

 

At 4k miles yuou don't know if it would have warranty problems. Personnally I don't like bikes with that low of miles. I think 8k would be hight for an old bike,but the market does seem inflated. I'd still offer little lower. I don't see low miles as good thing.

 

I'd pay that much.. An 07 with that little miles will need tires and a fuel system rebuild. Sound like someone went through the fuel system.

 

Buy it. Replace tires and fluids, then ride out!
