I see the M8 motor mentioned constantly with vented dipstick but almost nothing on the twin cam. I have a 2014 Ultra with an Arlen Ness air cleaner 103 engine.

Just wondered if anyone has used a vented dipstick and with what results on a twin cam.

As usual, the MoCo released the M8 quickly and fixed the problems after they started showing their ugly heads. Ya got a Twin Cam so there is nothing to benefit from using one. It's an M8 issue.

And I get that's mostly an M8 problem but I'm getting the oil in my air filter as well and with it being a windowed air filter housing looks crappy. Don't seem to be excessive but my throttle body was pretty oiled up. Just looking to lessen the oil going into the throttle body mostly.

You need to get a catch can. It's a system to keep the oil out of your air cleaner and engine. Check out DK Customs to see what I'm talking about.

I bought the fueling dipstick and installed it, if you can call it that. Im only using the small breather for now. If I get oil spray out I'll install hose and filter. I'll try to update and let you know if it helps.

I have one on my 117 TC. It definitely works with my application.
