Congrats on a beautiful Road King Classic! I had a 98 RKC for several years and I loved it. When they replace the tires, make sure they give the center of the rim under the rubber strip a look, my rear wheel rusted through. The grips are usually one of the first things that get switched out, I go for the Kyurakyn ISO grips.
Enjoy the ride!
John

My ‘02 RK came to me the same way; the previous owner’s 76 year old hips couldn’t hold up the bike anymore with his wife on the back. He replaced my RK with a trike & rides every chance he can.

My ‘99 RKC had the same paint as yours, and is probably my favorite paint scheme that HD ever did. I sold it to a HDF member a few years ago, and as far as I know, someone in his family is still riding it.

That’s awesome John! Yeah, I also love the color! It’s one that you really don’t see around. It’s going in Wednesday to have two new tires put on, I went with the Michelin Commander 3’s.

Sorry to go off topic but unless the current problem with C-3`s has been resolved you might want to re-think that tire choice

What’s going on with them? I was not aware of an issue?
