I'll take a TC103 over an M8 all day, every day. Sold one of my TC103 bikes a few months back, figured I'd replace it with an M8 bike. Went to the dealer and test rode a new Street Bob. Shortly after went on vacation and rented an M8 Low Rider for a couple days. Both were great bikes, handled well, etc. but the motor just didn't speak to me. Just can't get down with how they sound or with that overly whiney counter balancer. Reminded me very much of my Dad's old metric cruiser. I like raw, turns out my threshold of refined ends with the twin cams. M8 motors are great in many ways and the performance potential is unreal, just not for me.
