i am trying to find out what type of cam bearings are used in a 2014 twc 103 engine. I know about the tensioner shoes and replaced mine at 46,000 miles just as a precaution though they did not look bad. I did not replace the bearings. i am not having any isses now at 72,000 miles but am curious about the cam bearings as earlier twc engines seemed to have issues. I have searched and searched for the engine specs on this but cannot find the answers. I know there are those you that know this answer so i am reaching out for help.

Torrington/Toyo B 168s for the inners and OEM are fine for the outers. The early twin cams did not have "issues" with the OEM inner INA cam bearing but it has been common practice for many years to replace the OEM inner bearings with a full complement bearing when changing cams. The full compliment inner cam bearings can be purchased from dealers.

 

What bike do you have? It may not make a difference in the bearing part number, but as there are two flavors of TC in 2014 (Twin cooled and oil cooled) it may make it easier for someone to help.
