My bike's a 2002 Dyna Low Rider 88c.i. I searched everywhere and I can't see anyone else having this problem. All is good with the first gear, 4th and 5th, but when I shift in 2 gear I don't get the good solid clunk like it used to. I hear a lighter thin loose metallic sound, a lighter clunk and some grinding noise if I shift fast. There is no grinding if I let the rpms drop. I have this problem especially at high rpms. I hear a grinding sound in 3 gear as well but with a solid clunk and no metallic sound. The warmer the motor, the worst it gets. The grinding noise is the same as when you have the bike running on choke and you put it in first gear too slow. Can anyone help me with this?
Change yer trans fluid to Synthetic 75/140 gear oil and take it for a looooooog Road Test.
Thanks but I'm not sure how that would help. It started doing that after a f****ed up a shift while racing someone. I downshifted hard and went a gear to low and dropped the clutch. Also I felt it going in wrong. I have a feeling I might have bent or broke something.

Valuable info that should have been included in post #1
Take it to a trusted Indy or at least seek their advice. It’s your your tranny! don’t let what maybe a small issue become a large expensive one.
