Reinstalling used spark plug

What? The answer to your question? Yeah, you'll get some ribbing but for the most part there were some decent answers. This forum has for the most part some very intelligent and experienced people. Some actually work (or worked) on Harley's for a living. Next I suppose you'll want to know how to "feel" the correct tire pressure.

If you had come back with a reply that you did not have a service manual or a torque wrench, someone would have answered your question with an alternative method but the attitude you displayed in your first reply (post #5) was a bit inflammatory and some of the following replies were in kind. Give the forum a second chance, you will be missing out on a valuable source of help if you don't.
BTW, I use a socket, turn by hand until I can't, hook up the wrench and go about another 1/4-1/2 turn; you will get the feel of it; doesn't take much.

It's all good. No need to apologize. My rocket science comment was aimed the same direction.

Trex, I have been a forum member for 15 years and I believe you asked a question that has never been asked before, so some of the forum members were just having a little fun; granted at your expense. I am familiar with everyone that posted, have seen their past posts and I can assure you, no ill will was intended and you shouldn't leave the forum over some joshing; just lighten up a bit and laugh off the joshing posts. There are a lot of knowledgeable members here that are happy to help.

And he's back while he may not be mechanically inclined, apparently he is very handsome I see you're in Hawaii, you should have asked Jessica.
It's been fun, but I got a feeling this thread is just about done. Better hurry up if you want to have the last word
