Default Engine Identification

Hoping someone can decode this engine # for me. It's supposed to be a 96b out of an 09 Train. Clutch basket came apart and I ordered a new one but she's not wanting to slide up on the shaft easily. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm stumped. The fourth letter (B) indicates the "Model year".

The third digit (9) indicates the "Engine type".

Here's what has me stumped. The first two letters indicate the "Model". AFAIK, in 2011 the only model equipped with the balanced 110 was the CVO Softail Convertible, but the model designation is "PY".

Hopefully, someone with more knowledge can figure out what the "RG" stands for?

Did the engine/trans/primary come out of the donor bike as a unit? Or are they separate pieces put together on a custom build?
If the pieces didn't come out as unit and are from different years/models of bikes, it makes no difference what the engine numbers are, you need to identify the the trans and maybe the primary in order to figure out what you actually have and which parts will work with what.
