Been upper 90's. Bike has been starting without issue. Maybe just needed a good xharge on the battery from sitting? Maybe just needed loosened up? Lol Idk but she been starting fine. Right now I am more into riding it (all be it mostly to little league baseball games) and putting up hay so my curiosity about the cams will likely wait until winter. Check chain tensioner and what not then. Thanks all and sorry for my slow progress lol.

Don't think you ever posted mileage? Putting off checking the cam chain tensioners could be a mistake. The early spring loaded tensioners have a history of failing, often with out warning and causing some serious damage. Might be worth tanking the time to check. The tensioners in my '05 Deuce were toast at 12Kmiles.

66K on the clock. No idea how many post engine work. Or what exact engine work. I was ready for a different bike but it is nice to know exactly what has been done. Such as after owning a certain bike for 10 yrs lol. You got a good idea of what is what by then. But learn the duece I shall. And we will become one haha

Yep. Miles. I figure if they had engine work done, it cannot have that many on the "motor". Either way, it runs and rides good and I ain't afraid to wrench on one....so miles schmiles. Or at least that is how I keep myself from being anxious about it??? Maybe? IDK LOL She don't seem to smoke or leak, or rattle, or shimmy. The 110 on my '09 was a WAY noisier engine.

Maybe, but how was it taken care of? New OEM tensioners? CYCO tensioners? Gear driven cams? I am **** enough to want to know?

Me too, but summer is too crazy to take the time to dig in and explore. Come cold weather when I need an excuse to start a fire in the shop..... then we shall have pics!

As sleepy Joe would say, "come on man", it would take all of an hour to open up the cam chest and take a look.

My luck, an exhaust bolt will twist off in the head and then I will try to drill and tap it on the bike and break a tap off in it. Now I have to remove the head and do surgery....I guess I am just scared LOL
